About Jerry Shkavritko
Founder & Operator
Jerry Shkavritko was born in Ukraine and immigrated to the United States in the late 1980s. His family settled in Rochester, NY, where he attended city schools, a community college, and later earned a Bachelor of Science in IT from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Jerry built a career in software development, working on everything from website and desktop application development to serving as a Product Owner for various software projects at Xerox Corporation. Eventually, he moved to Charlotte, NC, where he founded his own sunroom company, Valverax LLC. Jerry is married and has four children—two boys and two girls. Today, he continues his entrepreneurial journey with Valverax while also exploring other ventures, including hosting the JS Podcast.
